I lived at the links for 6 months and it was a great experience. The managers and office staff were extremely helpful and nice. Any time I had an issue all I had to do was call the office and the maintenance men had it fixed within a few hours. The apartment was also very nice and clean I had no issues with bugs either.

I lived at The Links for 2 years and 1 month and don't understand the negative remarks. Yes, my bathrooms didn't look like the pretty ones in the models you look at - but the space was the same. Of more importance to me, management and the maintenance crew were very responsive to my requests when made. I never had a problem with bugs, only occasional spiders - mainly when it rained a lot. Comments that the apartments don't contain the most updated appliances are correct but they work and The Links don't charge the highest rents in Fort Smith either. The A/C worked great - I like it cold and as long as I left it in the 70-72 range in the morning upon getting up, it kept my 2-bedroom unit cool/cold all day (in the 72 range). As to the comments about non-refund of application fees, deposits, etc., people need to read their leases. The lease terms do not allow management to refund those sums. Before moving in from Dallas, I checked the condition of my unit and it wasn't clean. I pointed this out to management. Kent actually agreed that it was not move-in ready but by the time I arried the following weekend from Dallas, it had been properly cleaned. Kent and management came through. The repairmen working there were also very responsive and pleasant - and timely - in making repairs, especially is my A/C would freeze up in the summer. As you can probably tell, I highly recommend The Links as a place to live.

My wife and i lived in the Links for about 6 months as we were in transition. We had a positive experience from moving in, residing and moving out. The overall maintence of the complex was well kept, office always readily available to answer questions or concerns. No complaints. I’d recommend in a heartbeat.
