The course is fun and has some challenging features. Example is the 7th hole which requires a very accurate placement of your tee shot.
The staff and service are great, and entertainment with Steve Tussey at the piano on Friday nights, and other music on Saturday nights in season, make the club the place to go on weekends. Tell Bill the bartender I sent you...he's a wonderful guy.

The restaurant has reopened under new management and if you haven't tried the fish and chips on Friday night, you must.

I just played the course again on April 21st 2012. The course has a new owner and they have hired on a management company to fix up the course. The course already looks better then it did all of last year. They are in the process of fixing all the bunkers by putting new sand in them and edgeing them so they can mow around them. They will also be fixing the water features for the entire course, so even the creek running through hole 5 will have water flowing for the first time in about 15 years. The greens are on there way to being perfect and the fairways are near perfect already. The new management said they are going to work on fixing the chipping/putting green throughout the summer to get it back in use. They have also already begun to fix some of the cart paths by leveling them and adding new dirt/rock to them. I am excited to see the course evolve over the next few months when I get back up there to play. ------This course is a 9-hole par 34/68. 3 par 3's, 5 par 4's, and 1(reachable in 2 shots) par 5. You come for the weather and the ease of play. I first played this course 15 years ago and play it at least 10 times every summer. It is great to play a round of golf in 80 degree weather in the middle of July. Sure beats the 110 degrees in Phoenix.
