Harvest Course at Bougainvillea Golf Club Ratings & Reviews

Update: We received a call back , GM was very understanding and professional about the situation at hand. We appreciate that he took time to review everything he needed to. We’ve yet to return but have been asked for a second chance.
WE WERE ATTACKED by an employee's S/O. My boyfriend and his brother went golfing Sunday, there was absolutely no water to be found on the course for starters. It may have not been a very hot day compared to summer but we're still in Arizona doing physical activity AND there's a sign prohibiting any outside drinks or food at the entrance. Well then their carts run on gas and about half way through their game my boyfriend and I make over 14 calls to the clubhouse and the restaurant combined because the light gas went off and we were afraid we might get stranded out there. No answer. We make the decision to drive back to find out that the clubhouse closes at 3pm and that's why no one answered. Justifiably upset a complaint was made (cuss words were used but never directed at anyone as per what I heard) to which the manager, Yvette Posey, replied to by calling my boyfriend a fat-ass, he exited the building with every intention on making an official complaint at this point. Upon making our way to our car YVETTE'S BOYFRIEND starts to verbally ATTACK and yell at my bf and his brother, also proceeds to call him a fat-ass as did the employee and girl friend of this man. Once Yvette decided to exit the restaurant to continue to yell at my boyfriend (needless to say very unprofessional for any employee) this woman's boyfriend proceeds to PULL A CLUB from his cart and SWINGS A DRIVER AT MY BF AND HIS BROTHER BOTH all while this woman is yelling at my boyfriend inches from his face and they continue to both yell insults at him. IF YOU'D LIKE TO BE ASSAULTED BY THE EMPLOYEE'S BOYFRIENDS AND FEAR FOR YOUR LIFE THIS PLACE IS FOR YOU.

Playing the course in March 2018. A little out-of-the-way on Baseline Road but overall in good condition and for an average of about $20 + tax per person with a shared cart is excellent value.
Virtually a flat course with some trees here and there but usually not in play, and water only on the left side of #9 (especially keep your approach to the green from going down the slope on the left into the water).
Some greens elevated a little and multi-tiered.
Most of the forward tees on the par 4s and 5s are sufficiently ahead of the white tees to make it playable for everyone's skill level.
There are 2 washrooms on each 9 but you encounter them twice which makes it seem like there are more.
On the negative side, no beverage cart service and no marshall's. Carts are taken everywhere, close to the greens and on the par 3 fairways.... disregarding on-course signage not to.
Bottom line..... much better than Villa de Paz for a low cost daily fee golfing experience.

I witnessed 2 employees just staring at the phone in the clubhouse as it was ringing, arguing who was going to get it, then just let it go to voicemail. Very unfriendly... out of bottled water. Finished 18 holes before 3:30 and the whole clubhouse was shut down and locked, yet they advertise on the 9th and 18th hole “kitchen open late, call and place your order!” Such a joke of an establishment.
