For a bit of reference, my wife and I just started golfing in October. My rating is based off how fun the course is to play.
For those of us that get a bit intimidated going to a bigger golf course, this place is a dream.
Rarely crowded in the winter and summer is wide open.
We carry only a few clubs for this course. (54,PW,3W,6,8)For fun, I’ll occasionally play with just my six iron. If you haven’t tried it, I highly recommend it. And if you only have one club don’t let that stop you from getting started at golf.
This is not a purest golfers course. Very limited amenities and the greens and fairways aren’t likely to be featured in the pages of The Golfers Journal in the very near future. But, what they lack in style they more than make up for in accessibility.
This course is for everyone that wants to have a nice walk and hit a few balls along the way.
Wear whatever you want. Personally I wear a big poolside style hats in the summer with shorts and a tee shirt. Golf shoes not required here.
Currently, summer prices are at $5 which is a bargain.
If you like this course or are curious about golf but have never liked the stigma, check out Adventures in Golf with host Erik Lang on YouTube. 🤙
