Came here in June during a heat wave for some star gazing and to head further east to check out the Salton Sea. The rooms at the resort were clean and comfortable (the beds were nice and comfy too, I slept like a baby while I was here), and located around a central pool. The air conditioning in the rooms worked very well, important considering it was about 117 in the middle of the day, and mid 90s at night! Check in was a breeze and the staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant had some pretty good food, cooked and presented well. There was a pretty good selection of beers on tap if that's your thing. The decor in the restaurant was dated, but I loved the style so this was not a detractor for me! The club house bar and restaurant have gorgeous views of the golf course and the National Park. The grounds were well kept and quiet, the pool was cooler than I expected considering the heat, and a wonderful place to spend the evening after sundown. I did not have a chance to golf or visit the spa while I visited, but I'm interested in checking out at least the golf course next time (the course looked lovely). The prices were comparable to other resorts in the area. Some of the other resorts in the area would not let you book one night only, but the Borrego Springs Resort did. Overall I enjoyed my experience here, and plan to stay here again in the future. There's something for everyone here I think, unless you are looking for crowds.

Great rooms, superb bed. The room was very quiet, the staff almost invisible. Big soft pillows. Space to work, or relax. The Arches was a good walk from the room, with fantastic service and good food, although may be a bit pricey.
Bees and roadrunners, hummingbirds and butterflies. They have careful landscaping that invites beauty.

Nice rooms, comfy beds, pool and Jacuzzi. Very reasonably priced during off season which is June through September.
