Griffith Park Golf Club - Wilson Course Ratings & Reviews

Wont return here. Played Wilson, it was pretty beat up but expected for the price. The greens were decent. Fairways and tee boxes are beat up and poorly maintained.
The only person who seemed to have a head on their shoulders and the right attitude was the kid working in the cart barn.
The supervisor in the pro shop was pretty dense(and rude), he had never heard of a rain check, nor knew the difference between the words refund and rain check. It's an industry standard at even the worst public courses. And from the other reviews, it seems that the management/pro shop are the biggest problems at this course.
I get that it's a public course but as someone who worked at a few public courses growing up, this place was embarrassing. And Harding is supposedly in worse condition (i was told Wilson was the better of the two).

Driving Range is okay, a little bit small but not congested. Problem here are the range balls which they never clean up. I have been using this driving range for quite a long time now and never had the chance to hit clean practice balls... they now have the new yellow balls that happened to be cleaned when i ht balls a couple of weeks but going back today, it's back to those dirty muddy balls you will hit. The ball picker don't seem to care about cleaning it before putting it back to the ball dispenser. just roll it over...too lazzzy to clean.

The design of the course probably the best around yet it is so sad how beat up and deplorable the conditions of the fairways and tees, probably by far the worse maintenanced course anywhere in Los Angeles. I've addressed the issues as others with the head of the city Laura Bauer but she doesn't even has the courtesy of replying or addressing the maintenance problems, at the rate they are going, the course could be unplayable in the near future.
