Marriott's Shadow Ridge Golf Club Ratings & Reviews

Wonderful golf staff top to bottom. We took a lesson with Ben and did a clinic with Mike. Both were knowledgeable, good listeners and catered instruction to our goals. Positive, enthusiastic and patient teachers. Golf course is beautiful and well-maintained that is player-friendly from the golds but challenging as you move back. Would definitely return!

Played 18 holes in just over four hours on New Years Eve. Beautiful weather. Every single member of the staff was fantastic. The fairways are impeccable. The greens were good, but the pin placements were very difficult. Actually, I’m not sure easy pin placements would be possible on many of them.
The traps are what make this course challenging, courtesy of Nick Faldo. They are seemingly everywhere.
We paid $119, which includes all of the warm up balls you need.
The Bunker offers some basic food options. The cart lady delivered a couple of delicious hot dogs on the back nine.
There was two instances where we encountered non-golfers on the course. In one case it was a man with three children. Not a great situation.
Overall, a beautiful, challenging course with an outstanding staff.

Set against the stunning backdrop of the Santa Rosa mountains, Marriott's Shadow Ridge Faldo Championship Golf course, rated 4-1/2 stars, is the first course to be designed in the U.S. by the six-time Major winner. Inspired by the sand-belt courses of Australia, Faldo has created an excellent and challenging layout here in the Coachella Valley.
