Westin Mission Hills Resort - Gary Player Signature Course Ratings & Reviews

When you step up to the first tee on the Gary Player Signature Course you can almost here Mr Player say.."Oh Yeah, lets play some golf".
This is truly a jewel of the desert. Mr Player was always keen on providing golfers of all levels of skill a challenge and this course offers the ultimate in challenges...BUT, they are fair.
The fairways are ample and most are very wide open. The Greens are welcoming and hold a good shot..but will penalize a poor shot.
The only downside of the Gary Player Signature course is the lack of a proper clubhouse. The Player Course is part of the Mission Hills resort which I will assume is where they want players to return for food and drink..but what if you are not staying at the resort? Answer: You are out of luck on enjoying those amenities. Hopefully Mr Player will revisit his signature course and bring a construction crew with him to build an awesome clubhouse in his honor.

Meh. Course wasn't in great shape. Looks like they spend all of their irrigation budget on fairways and greens as the rough was mostly dead grass and dirt, which was surprising considering the extended cool temperatures. Club house is barely a thing. Pace was painful. Found it a little on the easy side.

Beautiful course and difficult enough for good players yet somewhat forgiving for new players.
Can be very windy.
