Chipeta Golf Course on Orchard Mesa Ratings & Reviews

I took two of my grandsons age 9 and 11 to Chipeta Golf Course so they could hit some balls and possibly develop a love for the game. I didn't have clubs for the kids and the gentleman in the pro shop set each of the them up with with a set of clubs. They had the time of their lives. So I just wanted golfers to know how grateful I am to this man for letting my grandsons each have a set of clubs at no charge. Normally renting clubs wouldn't be a problem but I took a fall in January and have lost my short term memory, had to have my c-spine fused and I haven't been able to do anything that would bring any extra money to supplement our social security, along with my wife who is unable to practice law since she had an abdominal aortic aneurysm burst while on a day trip to Denver and back to pick up my son After getting to the hospital in Frisco they did a ct scan then life flighted her to Porter Hospital in Denver where they had a cardiac team waiting for her. My son and I were asked to wait in a counseling room and when the doctor came in and she told me she might not make it to Denver and had about a 10 percent chance of living through this event shook me to my core. I know I'm rambling some but I wanted to make it clear that sometimes doing even the smallest things for someone can make a big difference to them and reinforce some faith in humanity. I don't know the name of the man who did this for us, but I thank him for setting the boys up, they had the time of their lives.
Thank you so much,
The boys felt like they pretty much were golfers just like everyone else as they carried those bags over to the range even though it would be the first time they had ever hit a golf ball. I'm rambling again it's something I do a lot
since I got my traumatic brain injury. Any way, this course deserves five 🌟s for their generosity and kindness I believe that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. ⛳🙏

Chipeta was a great deal when I played. The course was in good shape. It's pretty straight and flat and would be easy to walk. My favorite hole would definitely be #9, a short par 4 dogleg left with a few trees protecting the green. A high drive or good draw can reach the green.
