Haven't been here in ages.
. Last time I did visit this place was about 20 years ago & even then simply took my boys to the Driving Range. We did however have a great time.

Took my nephew to play the executive 9. He has not played in several years. We were two of only about 8 others out there so we got to take our time. Course is in good shape. Had a great time.

First, I will start with the bad. I have played this course roughly 8 times in 2018. EVERY SINGLE TIME I have felt rushed regardless of the time, mornings or afternoons, weekdays or weekends. When I go to pay they feel it necessary to mention that there is league starting. As a result, it almost feels like your not welcome as a community member, even though it is a "public course". Sometimes there has not been anyone behind me/us for 2 or 3 holes. So I find myself asking, "why do they tell us that"? In addition, there was 1 time where I wore a tank top, because it was going to be 100 degrees out, which is very common in the summer months in Pueblo, and they said I could not play. After going to my car to look for t-shirt, I went back and told them I did not have one, and asked if they would make an exception, thankfully they did let me play. Most recently I showed up at 3:40 alone on Tuesday (the discount day for 18 holes) to try and play 18, and they said I could only play 9 due to league play. In addtion I have noticed a lot of ball marks that are not repaired on the greens. Now, I will move onto what I like about this course. As former employee of a public golf course, I must say that maintenance does an AMAZING JOB with this course overall. I also like that there are plenty of trees, which gives a break from the Pueblo sun. All and all, if you can ignore the league play rush they always put on you, and actually make it on the course it plays well. Keep up the good job maintenance crew! This low rating don't have anything to do with you.
