Champion Course at PGA National Resort & Spa Ratings & Reviews

Gorgeous resort, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable beds. $30/parking fee is pretty steep, but otherwise everything was lovely. My second floor standard room (2027) had a small balcony that overlooked the parking lot with gorgeous Banyan trees in the foreground. Starbucks coffee was provided in the room. And the property has great dining and bar options.

PGA National Resturant food, music and atmosphere was just wonderful.
The manager was so helpful with my 25 + dinner party. The lamb chop, crab cakes appetizers so delicious!! The steak was so tender and meaty... Overall a wonderful night.

What a nightmare trip! The first room I was given was a handicap room, which I was not interested in and was never told at the front desk it was going to be. After going back to the front desk they said I had to pay to upgrade or wait for another room. Our toddler was fussy and due for a nap so I paid to upgrade to a pool view. The bath tub was dirty and black. The room was also infested with ants. they got into my infants bottles and food. I called the front desk and they first offered to send someone to "take care of the ants" which I though was ridiculous. We have an infant and did not want what we perceived to be exterminators fixing the problem. They finally offered to move us to another rooms. I went to the lobby to get the key changed. While we were still packing up to leave the room they had assigned the room to another guest who literally walked into my room while I was in my underwear changing. Thankfully my wife was fully dressed by then. I got a call from the front desk non-apologetic, questioning who I was and what I was doing in the room. I explained that we were still in the process of changing rooms and asked how they could allow for such an egregious mistake to occur. The employee eventually apologized to us offering nothing. I would have thought a manager would have come to the room to apologize in person, and comp something. Nope, did not occur. We finally got situation in the new room. The room was dark and the leather on the couch was peeling. We were extremely underwhelmed. We went to the pool only to find that there were no pool towels at all in any of the stations. We could not find an attendant to help us. There were wet pool towels littered across the chairs. I could have never imagined such a nightmare stay considering I paid considerably more to stay at the PGA over other newer resorts. I literally cannot make this up. I hope management reads these surveys.
