Red White Course at Martin County Golf & Country Club Ratings & Reviews

My wife and I are not very good at golf. This morning was our fourth time playing. On the second hole fairway a man in a golf cart marked starter parked behind us and stared at us as we played. This made both of us very nervous and certainly didn't help or game. After a bit he rather rudely said "You have to keep up with the people in front of you." We are now so worried about the people behind us, well, the game was no longer fun. The next hole was just an endeavor to get to the end so we decided to just go home. I spoke with the manager of the course explaining our experience and he said he was sorry. Karen was so nervous she left her phone in the cart. When we went back to pick it up one of the golf pro's met us in the parking lot handed us the phone and explained that golfers are expected to finish the course in two hours. That our play would ruin the play of all of the other golfers. When did golf become a Nascar race? Did the other golfers come out of the womb with a driver in one hand and a putter in the other? Or did they forget when they were newbies like us. One day I'm going to be pretty good at golf and when I get behind someone learning the game, I'm going to sit back and enjoy the fresh air, nature and the company of my wife. That's what I like about golf. And for you race golfers keep this in mind. I can only hold you up for one hole. I'm happy to let you play through.

Wide open, nice course for the average player. The small airport next to it added charm watching planes coming in to land while you're putting.

It's a muni, so I can't go 5, but what a pleasant surprise the Blue/Gold course was.
Played in a scramble. First time I would describe the pro as abrasive.
Otherwise a pleasant experience.
