The Legend Course at Ibis Golf & Country Club Ratings & Reviews
about 2 months ago
I was a member and lived at Ibis last year. I moved out because I found the people there to be terrible and rude. Every time I would go out to the course I would get nasty looks from most people I drove by, even though I would wave and smile. Probably because I am younger than all the members. I lived there with my girlfriend, and she had a similar experience. They keep the golf course in good shape and the landscaping is fantastic. They clearly have plenty of money, however, the course was never as good as it should have been. Greens never got above a 9, and the fairways were always kept way too long. If you want a nice community to play golf with nice people, don't join ibis, trust me. Im a young professional golfer, and there is a reason why me and the other 3 young pro golfers got out of there. On the other hand I really liked a lot of the staff there, and they were very helpful. Ibis is geared toward a very specific kind of person, and it's member owned and they dont want it any other way. This a fancy retirement home not a country club.

We had a pleasant and delicious meal with friends. The wait staff was attentive and well dressed. Tables are set far enough apart to be comfortable and provide reasonable privacy for conversation with friends. Best of all, the food was served promptly and was delicious.
