I really liked golfing in the New Year's golf tournament back some time ago,, had a lot of fun there was only about an inch of snow , the ponds were frozen and didn't loose one ball in the water ! 😎😍 I'm hoping to bring my Grand Son and golf here again .

I'm a bogie golfer on my good days. This was my first time playing Highland Park. The course is easy to get to, the green fees are very reasonable, the staff is helpful and professional. It's a good looking, scenic course. Two things to be aware of: (1) his is a hilly course - at times you cannot see the golfers on your fairway from the tee box and (b) these greens are FAST, stay below the hole! The five or six times I happened to hit the green from 100 to 160 yards out with a wedge the ball scooted 5 - 15 yards beyond the green. On several lies above the hole I tried to just start the ball rolling, missed the cup, and wound up 10 - 30 feet away. But that's golf. OH! and where else have you the chance to duck-hook a drive onto Historic Route 66?

Old course, so on most of the holes errant shot are punished as they should be by well developed trees. Price is much better than some other courses in town.
