I live in here more than 1 year. I also refer some friends. For the first year I never had a problem with friendly staffs and supervisor. But after friendly staffs went rude unprofessional unfriendly employees started to work here especially last 3 months. If I can reach this complex owner I will tell him they lose your customers and renters. Maybe they think min. renter min.problem!!! Your goal to solve your residents problem. But they cannot solve our problems, they are creating new problems. I said again I loved to live here for the first year and I told my many friends to live here but I really feel sorry for them moving here!

I would not recommend choosing Gramercy Apartments. I have had several maintenance issues. One of them, I had the apartment above me flooding down into my apartment. The leasing consultants that are supposed to be your main contact could never give me any information or keep me updated on what was happening with the clean up.
The most recent upset had to do with my storage unit. My belongings were being stored in one of only available units at the time of my move in that did not have a latch for me to put a lock on it - which I was told was going to be completed before I moved in. When another tenant moved in above me, my items were taken from my unit and supposedly put into a "storage garage" without my consent or allowing me to check on what was in the unit. The leasing office called to confirm if it was my belongings and I called back & confirmed. A couple weeks went by and I heard nothing so I went back in and asked about about what was being done to get my things back into a storage unit that I am entitled to while leasing from Gramercy. I was told that the person handling the issue is out of the office for personal reasons and so the leasing staff person, and a few maintenance men met me over at my storage unit to take a look at the issue. They told me that the items that were taken were in a storage unit where NOTHING is thrown away and my items were going to be safe. Fast forward 4+ weeks and I still have nothing in my unit so I submit a maintenance request to get my items back. I get an email from the leasing office, a couple people cc'd, stating that my items had been returned. Being that I unfortunately couldn't recall all the items being stored, I could confirm that they didn't bring back 2 of my items and that there were some other persons items that were NOT mine. I emailed them back and got no response. Personally, when they took my items before my knowledge, that was Gramercy taking responsibility for those items. After putting in the 2nd maintenance request to get my items back, they finally have reached out and advised that my items are GONE. They wanted to offer me a measly amount to replace items that I will NEVER be able to get back.
It makes me SO HAPPY that I am NOT renewing my lease after they decided to raise my rent after the first year by $100/month, but especially now that after all these issues and they show lack of concern. I apologize for the long review and those that have made thus far, this is for you and I hope that you can use this as a tool in your future moving plans.

I do not usually post but my experience with this place has been so horrendous that I had to share to caution others. I lived here for about year and a half with a great track record. 3 months before moving out I almost had a fire start in my apartment which burned a small prt of the carpet. I immediately reported it to their office and was told “to not worry about it.” They came to the apartment took pictures, but never made me aware that I needed to make any payments to get this fixed or contact the insurance that they charged me for monthly myself to get the carpet fixed. After moving out I was sent a bill of $600 and told you MUST py in 14 days or we will send you to collections. I went ahead and made the payment within the time frame of 14 days. However, now I am contacted by a collection agency stating I owed these guys $600 and had been sent to collections. When I contaced the office I was told “system is set on auto collect.”- what an unpleasent experience dealing with this place. I will never do business with this place again.
