Over the last 3 years, my brother and I have played this course about 25 times. First, let's start with the positives... $20 is a fair price. Great short course for beginners. And that's about it. Now for the negatives... The course seems to ALWAYS have some sort of maintenance or renovation happening. The greens are barely playable. Speaking of greens, the one at hole #2 has a HUGE gnat/bug problem. I've lost more balls in the fairways than I have out of bounds on this course (you can barely tell a difference between the fairway and the first cut). The sand traps are ALWAYS hard... more like loose concrete than sand. So this begs the question... why have my brother and I played this course so many times over the last few years if it's in such terrible shape? Well, the answer is simple... The City of Bowling Green are the SOLE owners of the only 3 public course in town (Crosswinds, Paul Walker and Riverview). So unless you join one of the overpriced country clubs... you're forced to either play on a municipal course... or drive to Russellville, Franklin or even Tennessee! Bottom line, the price isn't terrible (hence why I gave it 3 stars instead of 2) and you can play a full 18 in under 3 hours (if the course isn't busy... but when it is, this short course becomes VERY congested, very quickly). If you have no other options or short on cash for your game... go to Paul Walker (or even Riverview... I've got a review on that course as well). But if you have the time and/or the money... drive to Rolling Hills in Russellville or Kenny Perry's down in Franklin, KY.

We played at the playground and had a picnic there. They had to play areas clise together. One was for the little guys and one for the older kids. There were picnic tables and benches in several spots around the playground as well as shelters for larger gatherings near by. The side of the playground closest to the road was fenced off. Nice place!

Absolutely terrible Municipal course. This course is just not properly taken care of. Never been to a course where you could lose a ball in the 1st cut.....until here. Greens are horrible year round. Fairway is rarely mowed. Spend the extra money and go to Crosswinds
