Lake Cumberland State Resort Park Golf Course Ratings & Reviews

The campground is one of the best in the state. Big and small lots. Good for tents or campers. Wooded with plenty of privacy. Beautiful. Toads and deer, but no raccoons that we've experienced. The lodge and cabins look nice too. Great lake for boating, near a fish hatchery that you can fish at. Highly recommend this spot.

This was our first visit to Cumberland State Park Resort. We stayed a couple nights at Lure Lodge and absolutely loved it! Everyone was very nice and the rooms were updated and very nice and clean. We had dinner in the Lure Lodge Restaurant the first night and we had one of the best and most tender steaks ever. We had free continental breakfast each morning which was really good. We rented a boat at State Dock and loved Lake Cumberland! There is a shuttle that goes from the lodge to State Dock which was great. All in all it was a great experience and we will be back!!!

This was our first time camping at this park. The bathhouse is air conditioned! This was a luxury for sure when tent camping! The bathhouse was cleaned everyday that we were there. Air hand dryers also made a nice luxury after the downpour of rain soaked all our clothes. The fire ring needed to be cleaned out but this is my only complaint. I will start bringing a shovel with me in the future because the old ashes kept smothering our fire. Dumpsters were conveniently located. We were at a tent site with water/electric. The site was directly beside the bathhouse. The site was slightly sloped and there was not a whole lot of grass area to put a tent, but we found a fairly level spot and it worked just fine. Plenty of parking and would be a great spot for a camper as well. Pool was closed during our stay for repairs. I wish there was a good place to swim in the lake or the Pumpkin River, but we never found such a place. We ate at the restaurant and the buffet was delicious. Best catfish I have ever eaten. Went to 76 Waterfall. Not sure that was worth the 30+ minute drive, but it was pretty. Mini golf course was fun and challenging. The Country Store was very close by and a great place to get a few supplies, wood and ice. All staff we came in contact with were very nice. Would definitely stay here again.
