This is an interesting track in the process of coming back. I’m a 12 index and I played mid-April 2018. I liked the length and layout of the holes and the greens were in decent shape but the fairways were in really bad shape - large areas with almost no grass. Originally I was only going to give it 2 stars but after playing I ran into Larry Anthony, the Director of Golf in the club house and he explained the history and plans. In short, the Club was purchased and put under new management just two years ago. The plans for continual improvement sound solid (my son works in the golf course design & construction biz so I have some sense of where they are headed). I’ll definitely come back next time I visit NOLA to see the progress.

Beautiful hidden gem in a forest of cypress trees. Great greens, cold beer, and excellent food!

After the drainage improvements, the course is in great shape. They are still working on a few bunkers, but overall it's a marked improvement over a year ago.
Clubhouse has great food. Nice selection of top shelf too for a drink at the turn or at the 19th.
