To be fair we didn't golf here we came as space geeks in search of the launch site of the first liquid rocket by Robert Goddard. The man in the club house was accommodating and told us to hug the rocket wall on the short walk down to the monument. Also in the clubhouse you can see kids drawing honoring Goddard. The golfers were also happy to accommodate and talk a little space history with us. Do be mindful of which direction they're hitting and keep a cautious eye out for any incoming gold balls.

I don't golf but if I did I'd say this was a cool little local option. We were there to see the marker for Goddard's first rocket launch, which was easy to find. The people in the clubhouse were helpful and everyone there was super nice. Beware of flying golf balls.

I absolutely love this course! After work I go and walk 9 holes for less than $15 bucks! You can beat the course- it's in great shape. The town of Auburn owns the course now so it's all redone and well taken care of. I travel out there because it's a great course for the right price.
Now, they need someone to donate their time to build a website. The course has a lot of potential to be a little gold mine.
