White Red Course at Hunt Valley Country Club Ratings & Reviews

(2nd Generation member.) Rude staff at Canter Club. Pool is, eh, subpar. Course? Hmm. I've played and walked many courses and this just doesn't impress me much. FYI, course is not for those who have even a "slight" bit of trouble walking due to healing injury, bad knees, whatever it may be. Restaurant? Chef Warren is about the only thing good they have going there. They lose him, I pretty much think it's going to be downhill from there for the entire country club. The rudeness and lack of attention at Canter Club was what finally resulted in the cancellation of our membership. They continued to bill us. Gosh, I could go on and on. Gave 3 stars because the location IS beautiful for an outdoor wedding or if you want to dine at restaurant that has good food, a beautiful outdoor deck (with absolutely gorgeous scenery,) but very, very bad service. Otherwise, this is a 2, at best. Hopefully, the new management will hire younger, eager staff from the area who want to please, rather than old, worn-down staff who are tired of the industry they work in. By the way, they keep advertising and bragging about their $2.5 mil revitalization. Let me tell you, $2.5 doesn't get you much on a course, pool, restaurant and grounds/country club such as this.

We had our son's wedding here. Love the venue, food, the view, and staff. Emily was such a great help with helping to get everything really for this day. I know our daughter-in-law had a great day as well, because she gleamed all day with true happiness. Would recommend this venue for all that would like their wedding here. Now I see why The Knot gave Hunt Valley Country Club awards 2014, 2015, and 2016. I am sure they will get awarded this year as well.

They are expanding activities to include an open PDGA sanctioned disc golf league night on Mondays at 5 for $20 including golf carts and league fees. The staff is extremely friendly and the course is amazing. It is really a great way to introduce outside members to this beautiful property.
