Executive Course at Needwood Golf Course Ratings & Reviews
25 days ago
This course has an excellent layout with plenty of elevation changes and challenging holes and is quite scenic. It is not the longest or shortest course in the Montgomery County Golf (MCG) system. The condition of the course is very good. Just rating the course alone would give it 4 Stars. However, mid-week it had one of the worse pace of plays of any MCG course I played (started at 11:30am and ended at almost 6pm on a Wed!). I was told by an employee of another MCG course who was in my foursome, that they overbooked by splitting the tee times, as evidenced by teeing off the 10th hole. Despite slow times, they did nothing to speed up play. Wish they had rangers like Falls Road. Based on the course and closeness to home I will play again, hoping the pace of play is better - will definitely avoid on a weekend.

Enjoyed playing the course. Although the manager Kim Mabry was rude and unprofessional. She stood at the top of the
hill and yelled at me like I was a child. She should have come down and introduced herself as the course manager. I was simply showing my playing partner how to stay balanaced during the swing. She yelled "YOUR NOT TEACHING LESSONS ARE YOU".
I see White guys do it all the time with there friends... If your Black every little thing is a problem with her. She was loud and unprofessional. Embarrassed by the ordeal and yes it was crowded. Shame on her.

My husband talks about his memories of teeing it up at Needwood with old golf buddies in the '80s and '90s. They are all good memories .
