I've played this course 3 times in the past 18 months with the latest being today, end of June 2015. First, the thing I like about this course is the layout. There are some interesting and challenging holes. Plays more like "target golf" in that tee shots are often blocked on one side or the other by trees so it's not just a "bombers paradise". There are also some good elevation changes and a few holes with water that comes into play. Now, the bad: this course was in AWFUL CONDITION today! I could understand a little if this was during the winter or very early in the season but this is prime time, middle of summer and there's been plenty of rain as well. ALL of the greens had dead patches strewn throughout them and most of them had fresh anthills. Really? Anthills on greens? Yes, first time I've seen this and they were bad enough on some greens to cause issues with putting. The fairways were mediocre at best, rather long and not well mown. The rough was also not very uniform. And while I like the challenge of a few trees blocking certain sides of a tee shot, it's obvious these trees have not been trimmed or maintained in a very long time. Trees are overhanging and blocking a lot of cart paths. An finally, the bunkers are a complete joke! They are filled with what looks like gravel, with tons of rocks everywhere! They have not been dragged by course maintenance in possibly forever? So, while this place is rather convenient for me to get to, it's a course I will most likely NEVER play again. I can spend my $50 at so many other courses that are in such better condition than this course! Oh yeah, the clubhouse staff is rather unfriendly too and that about tops everything off nicely! Note: the other two times I played this course in 2014, I don't remember the conditions being this horrible. I've either forgotten or they've just gotten extremely bad in the past 6 months or so.

New carts, Fairways starting to come in. Spring is here. The 3 courses have always been challenging at the Ridge. Good people, good staff. You can always count on a decent sandwich at the turn or after completing the round. For the price I recommend this course

This course was in terrible condition with un mowed fairways, crabgrass rough, and greens that are not even close to smooth. What was curious was the way the gentleman in the golf shop treated us knowing that we made our tee time on GOLF NOW. He specifically told us that we because we booked on GOLF NOW for a discounted rate, we had to carry our bags up the hill to the driving range and then get a cart 5 minutes before our tee time. There were 15 carts waiting to be used and were being used by the other customers who had walked up. In the 500 golf courses I have played in my life, I have never been treated worse. If you don't mind being openly treated like a second class citizen to play a pretty average course, this is the place to go.
