The Executive Nine Hole Course at Bald Mountain Golf Course Ratings & Reviews
almost 4 years ago
Worst golf course in the area. They could have a decent setup, but refuse to use any type of lawnmower. Its like golfing in someones backyard with dandelions, with fairways and rough that have been let go. This course screams "I just don't care". They are in serious need of new management. With all this considered, they charge $45 on the weekends (open-12)... they are essentially charging the same rate as other courses in the area that are MUCH better. If they would bring down their price, this course wouldn't make me so upset. It reminds me of what Beaver Creek use to be like before they sold. At least Beaver Creek knew their course was crap and only charged $25.

I will *NEVER* come back to this dump ever again. The only reason we were even here is that it's a good old man and beginner course, so perfect for my dad and girlfriend. So when we arrived 20 minutes early and found out that there were no carts available *AGAIN* for probably 1.5 hours, this is the end of bald mountain for us. We got a refund (at which time we were given a dirty look for even considering it) and took off.
The management is terrible. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to know that if you have X number of carts, you don't book X+10 groups that are going to ride.
This is the 3rd time we're gone int he last 3 attempts in which they were out of carts. There are soooo many fine golf courses in SE Michigan, I hope this one goes out of business.

Enjoyed the Executive Course, was Greeted cheerfully, have golfed here early in the morning and late in the afternoon, we had a good time and was not rushed through.
No big hills or sand traps, greens were in top condition, have been fast and slow depending on the greens water content.
