Excellent course from tee to green! 27 beautiful and challenging holes to golf!
We have hosted an annual outing here for the past few years. Brad Stedry and his staff are always Great to work with. Brad makes it so easy and seamless each year and his staff is always so nice and helpful. Following the golf we have a dinner on the lower level in the clubhouse. It’s a great space for announcements and prizes. The food and service is great!
Overall A++ absolutely beautiful golf course and the service is top notch!

Good residential course, everything seemed very well placed. A couple tricky holes that I can’t wait to play again. Really good food as well!

I felt discriminated against.
I called 4 different golf courses near my house to see which one offered the best twilight time and price (6:30PM tee off). Tanglewood was the cheapest and had good reviews. When I arrived, person at the pro shop tells me that they don’t have twilight green fees. I thought maybe I was misinformed or there were some communication issues when I called to book the tee time. I paid for 2 players / 9 holes and went to pick up a cart. There was another gentleman waiting to get his cart and I overheard him talking to the ranger.
He basically told the ranger that he paid for 9 holes but he is playing until sundown. To me that’s twilight, and the ranger says “For you? Sure.” I thought, maybe the guy is a regular and getting a special treatment.
I went to the parking lot to pick up my partner and my clubs. I returned to the South 9 and was about to tee off. The ranger frantically came to us and start asking questions like, where have you been? Why are you here now? As if I was hiding somewhere and came back to sneak in another player. I explained the situation and he let us go.
After playing 9 holes, we had an hour left until sundown so we came back to club house to see if we can pay extra to get few more holes in. … Before we went in the club house I asked the ranger and he says that is not possible and told me that our cart is one of the last few that needed to be returned. By the way, the guy who paid for 9 holes was still playing and there were a league playing at the time. The golf course was not crowded but not empty. So I was heading toward the parking lot and the ranger tells me “Bring the cart here!”. So I explained to him that I was going to the parking lot to unload and he didn’t say anything. He was telling me to bring the cart back as if I was planning to leave the cart in the parking lot after unloading the clubs.
I returned home and checked my receipt for the green fee and apparently the guy who received my payment wrote “my first name” as “Chang” on the receipt. I never told the guy that my first name was “Chang” and it is not “Chang”. I am Asian by the way. I never played on this golf course before and I think this will be my last. Asians beware!!!
