We played the back 9 with twilight rates on a weeknight. The rate is great and you play as many holes as you can until dusk, typical of twilight golf. The fairway was more like a rough on 4 of the holes and the greens had some bare spots that made for interesting puts, but overall the course is rather forgiving with wide fairways. A couple holes played right next to residential houses that seem way too close to the course. For the rate they charge, I'm very happy with the quality of the course! Staff was great and the carts were well kept. We will go again.

TLDR: If you like being harassed for being "slow" despite playing on pace and over paying for a course that isn't really that well maintained, this is the place for you. IMO, Save your time and money and go somewhere else. Recently had an interesting experience at this golf course. First and foremost I can understand the status of the fairway and generally other parts of the course, due to the weather in the area. The only thing I don't get, is how the tee box can have no grass in it all? It's not that the grass had died but that there was just dirt. The areas that were watered, heavily, were the greens. In fact a maintenance man was dousing the greens in front of us with gallons of water. All well and good I suppose but it significantly slowed us down. Making putting and chipping take twice as long since the water would slow everything down. I had to keep asking myself, "why did I pay 48 dollars for dirt and dousing?" Speaking of being slow, be warned that if you don't play the course in the amount of time and pace that one of the field marshals *thinks* you should be playing, you're going to be harassed by him. The total time to play a full 18 holes of golf is 4 hours (according to the harassing field marshal and the manager of the course themselves). By the time our group of 4 got to the 9th hole we were running about 5 minutes behind. According to this field marshal we were actually 25 minutes behind. I'm no mathematician but if you start at 8:22am and get to the 9th hole by 10:27am, that to me suggests 2 hours and 5 minutes of time golfing not 2 hours and 25 minutes. Well regardless this was our first warning, no biggie, we decided to speed up a little. We had intended to anyway. We stopped looking for balls and sped up our putting game as much as we could with the greens being soaked to the bone. As we approach the 13th hole the same field marshal comes around again and says we need to "speed it up." By that time we had been timing how long we took at each hole, just to be sure we weren't going over time. We indicated that we're on pace to finish early (spoiler we did by about 5-10 minutes) and that him coming around and harassing us wasn't helping us move any faster. He huffed and puffed and eventually drove away, but I asked myself again "why did I pay 48 dollars to be rushed when I wasn't even being that slow?" I want to point out that we did indicate our issues with the office manager and he did say he'd "take care of it." Based on his demeanor it seemed like this wasn't the first issue with this marshal, as he almost immediately knew who we were referring to. I gave them two stars instead of one only because of this. So what's my verdict overall? If you like being harassed and to over pay for a course that isn't really that well maintained, this is the place for you. Otherwise, save your time and money and go somewhere else.

Good course for the average golfer. I'm told it's on the mend with a new groundskeeper, and you can tell. But it's still enjoyable and the staff were all pleasant.
