White Red Course at Pease Golf Course Ratings & Reviews

Played the Blue Course because they had an outing on the regular course. Not sure if I would call it a "hidden gem" but it is a fun nine hole course. It's actually pretty challenging with a few forced carries. It cost $25 for the senior rate and that included the cart. Pace of play was fine. Took no more than two hours. You can't walk the course because of the distance between tees and there could be a quarter mile between one or two holes. For a quick nine holes, it is a great course and great price.

The course was a fun mix of challenging, but manageable for players of all skill levels, and the it was well maintained. However, I have a huge problem with their golf carts.. They were linked to a tablet with a course map and GPS which could tell you how far to hole on each shot. This would be an awesome and much appreciated feature if the governors weren't also linked to the GPS... On the cart path you were limited to 7 mph maximum and if you strayed onto the grass, let alone remotely near the green or where the GPS thought there was water, the cart would slow down to the point where a children's Fisher Price battery powered car would fly by you. Not only was this extremely aggravating it greatly slowed down game play considering the long distance between holes. I don't know what disaster happened on the course to prompt this injudicious speed regulation; I can only assume it was calamity of the highest order, or the course owner simply watched too many barstool videos involving golf cart crashes. In any case I will not be returning to the course until this problem is fixed.
