it is a good course to play in the summer and it needs water but when it is watered it looks the best ever. they have a great glow ball event every year (where you play golf at night with an led glowing golf ball). course prices are not that bad. I would give it 5 stars no the less.

My wife and I are retired. Have played golf at bases all across the U.S. This is one of the worst. Tee boxes not mown. Mowing guy on #4 just kept mowing the fairway as we were teeing off. THEN, when we were putting, he did not stop, he mowed two swaths around while we were putting. Water and mud everywhere due to poor waterline maintenance and drainage. I would not recommend this course to anyone.

I’ve played golf for over 40 years and this course is in the worst five I’ve played. Weeds on the tees and in the fairways. Dead grass and large dirt patches in the fairways. Guy mowed grass with a huge mower while we were on the practice tee blowing huge dust clouds on us. Another mower guy saw us teeing off on #1 and simply drove down the middle of the fairway making us wait. No apologies. Bunkers were mostly dirt with some sand. Greens were aereated and top dressed, which was understandable or this time of the year (Spring). But they were cut at different mower levels and not rolled. The holes were cut and pulled up so the putts would get to the edge and turn left or right on the edge of the hole. I can only guess the people rating this course as a five star are Air Force enlistees or retirees that want to make their course “look good”. My friend, an Air Force retiree, and I both agreed this course was one of the worst we ever played. Go to any other course in the Albuquerque area and your experience will be 100%+ better.
