Course is fun and in great shape, but FOR GOD'S SAKE PLEASE WEAR A COLLARED SHIRT!!!!! Because if you don't, EVERY SINGLE PERSON WHO WORKS THERE will nicely (or sometimes tersely) explain to you about how they will let you play today but they would prefer you wear a collared shirt next time. It seems to be the single most important thing on earth to them, as if this were Augusta National or Pebble Beach and not some $2 a hole course in upstate NY.

Great course, worth the drive. Course is in great shape with beatific views and fairways lined with apple orchards. Pace of play amazing for a Sunday 910 tee time. Little over four hours. Rangers visible multiple times during the round monitoring play. Staff extremely friendly. Great experience.

This is the best maintained public course I know. Bunkers contain real sand but some tee boxes show wear. This is a 27 hole course playable by golfers of any level. Two of the nines are walkable.
There is no club house but there is a small restaurant available. Sometimes there is a refreshment cart but often enough to count on. Bring extra water as the number of water stations has been reduced.
