I was just driving by the old course and can't believe what it has become. We used to have so much fun playing there.

Under new ownership, the golf course is turning around, the course is greener and more alive than ever before, go out and have a great time at a fairly cheap price

Worst condition I have ever seen a golf course in. I used to golf here on occasion 12-15 years ago and while it was still not a great course then, it was a good deal at $13 for 18 holes. Even while only paying $12 for 18 holes, I still feel I overpaid today. The greens are completely burnt out, brown, and like concrete. Some fairways have little to no grass, while even their best fairways have some grass but mostly crab grass. I enquired about why the course is so bad now, after not golfing there for years, and was told that the pump went out for their sprinkler system and that the part should be in any day. In my opinion, there definitely isn't any sprinklers running on the course, but this hasn't just been a short term issue and has developed over time and it has to have been at least a few years that the course has been getting very little, to no treatment. This course needs new ownership or just needs to shut down. Do not waste your money here. I'm not sure that they can pay me to golf here again until some major changes are made. If you do decide to golf this course, just look at it like you're buying a couple buckets of balls at a range and getting some golf situations in with your swings because this course should not be considered anything more than a golf range.
