Foxglove Pinecone Course at Resort at the Mountain Ratings & Reviews

Room was nice with a great walk in shower (towels were stiff and we had to call down for 2 more). Fireplace created nice ambiance. Provided 2 bathrobes which were nice when we used the jacuzzi and heated outdoor pool (a short walk out the sliding glass door). Exquisite bedding is what I have remembered here and why I have returned year after year. Unfortunately, it was less than expected this trip and seems to have gotten worse over the years. I wish someone would fix this cute setting and make it worth the money again.

We had a great stay. The food was great. I left my $112.00 tall purple Rockfish rubber boots in the room (they were fabulous). I began calling and leaving messages regarding my boots, the day after we checked out. My boots had sentimental value to me, and I was heart broken. I called four times and the lost and found mailbox was full every time I called. It's been over six weeks now and I never even received a return phone call. I'm sure one of their maids is enjoying my boots. They will be noticed in that small town. I am buying them again, but they won't have the same history/paint spots/memories...

Attempted to order 3 large gift cards for our company owners and we were on a tight turnaround. Emailed them through the website, no answer (ever). Called the next day, left a message with the sales department. No return call. Called the following day, spoke to reservations desk, gave my card information and was looking forward to giving a bit extra with their deal at the time. Was assured I would receive a receipt in my email to present that Friday, and that the gift cards would be mailed out and would shortly follow.
Fast forward to today - still no charge to my account, no gift cards showed up, and called to make sure they wouldn't charge my card as I found another resort option. Waited on hold for over 4 minutes, and was told "sorry" but didn't really seem to be out of the ordinary.
I had heard really great things about this Resort from others, but it sounds like maybe they don't really need the business?
