Thistle Foxglove Course at Resort at the Mountain Ratings & Reviews

Room was nice with a great walk in shower (towels were stiff and we had to call down for 2 more). Fireplace created nice ambiance. Provided 2 bathrobes which were nice when we used the jacuzzi and heated outdoor pool (a short walk out the sliding glass door). Exquisite bedding is what I have remembered here and why I have returned year after year. Unfortunately, it was less than expected this trip and seems to have gotten worse over the years. I wish someone would fix this cute setting and make it worth the money again.

We had a great stay. The food was great. I left my $112.00 tall purple Rockfish rubber boots in the room (they were fabulous). I began calling and leaving messages regarding my boots, the day after we checked out. My boots had sentimental value to me, and I was heart broken. I called four times and the lost and found mailbox was full every time I called. It's been over six weeks now and I never even received a return phone call. I'm sure one of their maids is enjoying my boots. They will be noticed in that small town. I am buying them again, but they won't have the same history/paint spots/memories...

Good: This is a beautiful resort about 20 mins away from the ski resorts on Mt Hood. Looks like it had a good remodel in the past five years or so. The rooms are large & comfortable and the staff is nice (although not always super professional :) Overall though, I think calling it four-start resort is a stretch, I would give it a 3.5.
Bad: The extra fees on top of the room charges are excessive for this area. For a room advertised at $135/night, with all the fees it was $167/night. That's a 23% increase over advertised price, which pretty astronomical for this area.
