I play many rounds of golf and have to say this was the worst golf experience I have ever had. This course should just start over. I had to avoid the fairways just to find grass. The fairways were nothing but crabgrass. The greens were unable to be putted on. Half of them there was no grass period. The sand traps had no sand and had standing water in every one of them which created a horrible situation when you are trying to putt with all the bugs flying in our face due to the standing water everywhere. All of the water features had standing water creating a mosquito heaven. No excuse about the rain you should be able to grow grasss in the rain!. The sad thing is they did not even mention any of these problems when you make a tee time. Just call Toll brothers and put houses on this course. Not worth any money.

To be clear, this review is dated 8/10/18... the course is a MESS right now. They have been hammered by weather and multiple holes have suffered. They are doing MAJOR work on the fairways for several holes (greens are fine). The work is needed from really crappy weather the last month or so... the reason for the bad review??? If I show up to play and you tell me "you might have to skip a hole if the guys are working on it..." then you should not be charging me full price. Period. Sure enough, we had to skip a hole, plus we played several holes where the fairways were completely chewed up... I really like this course normally, I play it a couple times a month on average... normally a 4 star. But, when it is in this shape, and under active construction... you shouldnt be charging full price. I'll be back next year... not this year for sure.
