Flynn Centennial Course at Huntingdon Valley Country Club Ratings & Reviews

wow. if you have a chance to play this course, dont pass it up. Beautiful course that straddles a valley. Tough - it feels like you are always hitting off an uneven lie to a green that is tilted away from you, but that might just be because I'm a horrible golfer. This is the kind of place that certainly gets better as you learn it more, but it's an incredible experience your first time as well.

I recently had my wedding at the HVCC, and the venue and the event staff were absolutely wonderful. We received so many compliments about how amazing the food and drinks were, and the event staff were kind and patient with us as were were running a little behind schedule.
I don't give this venue 5 stars only because of the bad experience I had with their wedding coordinator/event sales manager Maggie. I am shocked she has good reviews. She is a bit impolite and not very helpful. I had to ask for almost everything, and she offered little information. The information she did offer was confusing and a bit inconsistent with how the event actually went. She strongly recommended I change my original reception timeline I submitted two weeks before the event (which I got from an experienced DJ), so I did. She was not there to run my reception, and a different event staff member questioned me about the timeline before the bridal party was announced. I told her that's what Maggie recommended I change the schedule to, and she told me that was weird because they never run it the way Maggie recommend it to me. Maggie also cleared my final checks without sending me an invoice or receipt first to confirm. This was extremely unprofessional as I had given a signed blank check to cover the groomsmen's bar/food tab the day of the wedding (as she recommended that I do), but she completed the amount and deposited the check without showing me an invoice first for confirmation!
Overall, my experience with the club and it's staff was wonderful except with Maggie. I would still recommend the venue for weddings and events regardless of that bad experience.

I had the honor of visting the Huntingdon Valley Country Club this past weekend. The staff, Erin and Maggie, were amazing. As another vendor in the wedding industry, it was so pleasant to be working with them both and to see them interact with couples who were giving tours. My first impression of the Country Club was in awe of the grounds and classic but historic aspect of the building. The inside was clean, organized and laid out perfectly for a wedding reception. In their ballroom, there is plenty of room for guests to eat and dance. This really is a venue where you can have your wedding day vision come to life. I already imagined how perfect a cocktail hour would be on their large patio space outside. Potential couples, be sure to check out the Huntingdon Valley Country Club when considering your venue for one the beautiful space yourself, but also a caring and dedicated staff who will make sure your big day is perfect!
