We golfed April 4, 2018 and some tee boxes were ROCK hard, fairways are wide & undulating; greens & fairways are thin, presumably b/c it's Spring. Only 2 Port-a-Potty restrooms ON the course (there is a lovely restroom in the club house), water available in construction Thermos' every other hole; for $110 pp I'd expect more amenities. Course is pretty and challenging, carts have GPS (which reads distance from THE CART); visually reading distances is tricky on some holes and play was too pushed to use our pin seeker. Getting a tee time was easy, we booked in afternoon for play the following morning.

Gorgeous views. Is secluded and takes a bit to get here. Not many services/amenities offered but they are available 15-20 minutes away. Rooms are nicer than a hotel but not a top class resort offering. Clubhouse offers food. Mostly sandwiches, wraps and burgers. However, they do offer a few dinner items on occasion that are pretty tasty. Although, they don't offer a full bar they do have a small selection of beer and a few wines.

Is Sand Hollow a great course? Absolutely. It should be on everyone's must play list. But notwithstanding the greatness of the course, there are a few things all should know.
First, is it the best maintained course in St. George? No. Not at all. In fact, it could use a little more TLC with it's fairways and greens.
Second, the front nine is...boring. There's nothing overly glamorous about it, and people forget about that in their reviews.
At the end of the day though, it's a great golf destination. Great clubhouse, good food, and very friendly staff.
